Where in NZ are you Steve? I'm in Wellington, I have a Mac 8T in a 26" wheel. I have a 16s LiFePH4 and it tops out at 50kph. It's a great set up but I don't ride it much now as my commute is 30km compared to the 5km that it was.

That looks identical to what my MAC 8T was doing. I contacted Cellman and he sent me a new replacement clutch. I managed to free up the original clutch after swapping it out with a technical tap from a hammer.

Good to see them available locally, i also would like to have a blast on one but i think the price is outrageous, even taking into account shipping from Australia and exchange rate differences.

I rode my MAC with a seized clutch for probably 1000km until I replaced it with a serviceable clutch, there were no issues with it.

With all the talk about Pikes Peak and alternative hill climbs I was wondering if anybody has ridden up the Alpe d'Huez on an e-bike? It looks quite formidable!! 8.5 miles with 21 hairpins!! Average gradient 7.9%; Maximum gradient 14% Start altitude 717m; Finish altitude 1850m.

Yeah, I needed some decent power to get up a narly hill to and from work so went for the Mac. I'm very happy with it. Done about 1600km so far. That kit you have seems like really good value...got me thinking about options for future builds!! Ride safe, cheers.
