I too had the same thing happen to my BBS02. I bringing it out of the garage the handlebars turned 180 and the connector bent around the head tube and came apart bending the pins in the process. Using some needle nose pliers while the battery was still connected produces a few sparks with the...
When I first started commuting I used the Maxxis tires as well. My commute has a mix of road and dirt. They were very nice until I began to have flats. Their single ply casing cannot take the punishment of all of the garbage on the roads. Even with Slime tubes. The other downside is the...

My commute is 40 miles a day on a Fuji Reveal 3.0 running a BBS02 like yours.. Before these tires I would average a flat a month. Now I get 3 or 4 a year traveling about 5,500 miles.

I thought the straps might be a weak point, but was wrong. I'm currently carrying a 14lb EM3ev battery for over 4 months with it.
Actually the bag on my bike is the MTX TrunkBag DXP

Its large (23 L), but the panniers unzip from the side and are great to have with you always. They are extremely handy. I pack 5 days of work clothes in them on Mondays and Fridays.
The bag...
I've been using the Topeak seatpost rack and tail bag for about 4 months and have had great success with it.

dnumun,
How did your pack turn out and did Golden Oasis get back to you on your questions. I ask because I'm looking into the same pack as you purchased.
