    Hardware temperature control tsdz2

From memory maybe 3-4 mm, thinner in the grooves. But its also tapered, thicker on one side to perfectly fit the shape of the shell. I was very impressed with the fit

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

I have nothing like that on my tsdz2b at least. Sample size == 1

New "TSDZ2 Torque Sensor Central Motor"

My tsdz2b from pswpower in may is flashed with OSF, runs like a dream. My guess is they can all be flashed, pswpower dont know what they are talking about, manufacture date probably doesnt matter and they are just confused

    CYC PHOTON

Yeah they should change strategy completely, just sell everything online, have everything in stock, spare parts and all. Document service protocols. The products are well designed enough to become a ”gold standard” for do it yourself e-bikes Sounds like a win-win to me Edit: if they indeed...

Anyone know about/tried TOSEVEN Mid Drive?

That was a lot of bearings

Yeah I kind of want to pay $$$ to get that axle, but when it seems I sacrifice reliability at the same time I cant motivate it 😢 Might be worth it anyway, using my tsdz2 for backup when the photon is ”away for service”… but then again I have to wait 6 months to even get the photon delivered? 😅

    TSDZ2 TSDZ2B cooling improvement elements & kits - NEW!

I have a tsdz2b but I only used this bit which comes in one size: Thermal conductive insert for TSDZ2 I ordered that, temp sensor and thermal paste For the plate I guess its best to measure before ordering, I was too lazy to bother with that so hoped the ”insert” would suffice

Which cooling mods are known to work?

Ordered! As you say it wont hurt, even tho it might not give the confidence for big drops.. Thanks

If the axle will hold I dont see why not! I agree that its not a good idea on tsdz2, but for another model with a good axle 👍 And yes factory emtbs are a joke in price, even if I can afford one I cant find a way to justify it, and I already love my current frame

    Hardware temperature control tsdz2

I got it up to 60 C riding up the towns ski slope with ambient around 25 C. It would probably have continued getting warmer if the hill was even longer, so it feels good to have the firmware 85 C limit set. But for my usage I will probably never be able to reach those temps. If I lived in the...

I dont see how that can give any guarantees on axle not breaking? Would be great if it did. Have you done it yourself and used the bike for hard landings and stuff?

Anyone know about/tried TOSEVEN Mid Drive?

For sure I want to do jumps and stuff, the axle needs to be unbreakable for me to be able to use the motor for the full spectrum of riding. So right now I am avoiding hard landings and stuff like that

    CYC PHOTON

Yeah the mix of - installing the motor yourself (which rather few people are comfortable doing, even need special tools for cranks etc) - maybe having to send the motor to a dealer/hong kong for simple/routine problems is a bad mix 😅

I would also like to pay $400 for a more reliable tsdz2 I love the way my tsdz2 runs now after tweaking with OSF and changing some parts. The only big downsides for me now are: - ground clearance - axle might break I have kind of learned to live with ground clearance being bad. But axle...
