Anything To Say About The Xing Middrive?

G'Day Doubledipspoon, Just thought that I would chime in and vouch for AFT. Jim is an honest guy, just trying to make good gear better. Basically he uses the same motors and controllers that cyclone, ego etc use and makes them better. Good luck with whatever you choose. I think you would be...

    Cyclone Chainring Bolts

I found a solution that I am happy with! I went to our local "nut and bolts" shop which unsurprisingly specialise in this sort of thing. The bloke there produced a M8 "barrel bolt" which had an outside diameter of 10mm :D With some modification using an angle grinder to shorten it to fit and...

    Cyclone Chainring Bolts

G'Day all, after tightening the bolts on by chainring I have sheared off the flange on the nut. Bad move. I have now discovered that appears difficult to get a replacement, as Cyclone appear to use M8 at 1.25mm pitch Screw about 20mm long, with possibly a custom nut. :| I am using the 44,44,32...

    Cyclone 650W Motor/External Controller Dissection

G'Day all, Just for future reference, for those who would like to mod their throttle the yellow wire going to the pcb is the throttle, red is 5V and black is gnd. See my pic for reference in case your controller is different (mine is 960W). My cap is 80V, not that it matters with 75V fets...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Hi Danny, I just connected my throttle cable to Mercury to try Throttle mode. I can set low and high throttle point (Motor works OK), however I cannot get throttle mode to work after setup. I have a look at the port status and I see throttle input, Port 2, changing when I twist the throttle...

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Hi Danny, an earlier post made me think that Mercury was anly for Bosh E-Bike systems.. I was/am a little confused.. So this (Mercury) is OK for my DIY Cyclone e-bike? Thanks again. Cheers, Martin.

Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Thanks for the reply Danny, You are right. This is Mercury. I only just noticed the "Mercury" on the side. I wrongly assumed tghat I had the ebike. This is meant for BOSCH systems, isn't it? I am trying to install it on a Cyclone DIY kit. Will it be suitable? Cheers, Martin.

GNG Trike motor 2500W & Golf Cart Motor with 4 speed

Interesting. A was hoping to see some feedback around these motors. A while ago I came across this site that appears to sell the same type of motors. http://www.czbrushlessmotors.com/brushless-dc-motor-c-2.html I wonder how they compare to cyclone/headline motors.... Cheers, Martin.

    GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400

Hi neptronix, could you, or someone else please explain this to me. How can you have more current in a phase compared to what you are drawing out of your battery? Sorry for the slightly OT question here... :?

    AFT Mid Drive System

Hi Katlluvia, I know my Cyclone 960W will take off from standstill on our driveway which is 18-20% grade. So your 9% should be no problem at these power levels. Looks like you have quite a choice with the Cyclones. Also, there is another mid drive that looks promising. GNG 450W brushless mid...
