    removing the batteries for charging is a hassle, even if it's easily swappable. be careful but not paranoid. keep an eye on your cells and you'll be fine. put a lipo meter on your board as planned. best no-hassle solution.

    Just did the update and WOW! Braking is so great! I'll have to tweak the code on my arduino a bit to use the whole travel of the joystick but it's already awesommme. I think the nunchuk is even better for braking as the joystick offers more travel and feels more like a progressive brake pedal...
