I fell asleep for a few hours yesterday morning and when I woke up, it was 114f inside. I just sweated through it. Haven't ran the ac yet this year and I only used heat on two days this winter. Trying to make it a year with no climate control so my body will reacclimate to its natural environment.

As sensitive as Tiny is to temperature changes now (overheats even easier than before the MG and ME), I have to be sure she (and Yogi) have a place to retreat to that's no more than about 80F. Above that for very long (couple of hours at most, sometimes a lot less) and sometimes she gets sick, and it could trigger siezures worse than what she's had before. :(

Yogi doesn't like the heat either and he will lay in the bathroom floor with his head against the toilet bowl side when it's more than about 85F, and sometimes doen'st even get up to follow me around, unless I go into the curtained-off bedroom where the window AC keeps it around 80F or less now. (am finally having to just leave it on...might be able to turn it off again next week if it cools off like predicted).

Even half-shaved both of them just aren't built for the heat here. :/

We have not reached +20C yet. It"s been around +10-15C for months. Just got rid of my winter jacket two weeks ago. Very cold spring this year, farmers are in deep trouble, can not sow wheat as usual because it"s too cold but some other crops. Motor stays nicely cool.

It's been about 25 years since we "officially" hit that here in Phoenix, but it has been that hot in some areas of teh valley on some days, including here at my house, on a number of worst-day-of-the-summers since then. :(

I hope it doesn't get that hot this year (107F-108F is the highest so far, AFAIK).

Still, it's hot enough now that I'm making beef stew in pots inside an aquarium on the shed roof out back. ;)
