The search didn't show these on ES yet. They might be interesting to some. They are...

"MILWAUKEE Red Lithium XC406 72Volt"

As you can imagine, these are for larger tools, they have a light-duty jack-hammer, a sewage-pipe unclogging snake, A light stand, Concrete coring drill (for plumbing installation/repair), Rotary wet-concrete screed, Concrete / steel circular saw...also an inverter to provide 120V AC at a jobsite...

Its only 6-Ah right now, so don't get too excited. 72V is 20 cells, and 6-Ah is typically a 2P of 3.0-Ah cell, and 40 of the 21700 cells, for those who want to calculate the size. "IF" they are 15A Samsung 30T's, then it could put out 70A of 72V for 5000W continuous, maybe 50% more as a peak for 7500W?

Two 6-Ah batteries and one charger are $1400

  • MX FUEL CP203 Battery – This “compact” MX FUEL pack features twenty (20) 3.6V 21700 lithium-ion cells arranged (more or less) in two layers. You effectively get a 3Ah pack to operate MX FUEL tools and equipment.
  • MX FUEL XC406 Battery – This MX FUEL extended-run battery pack contains forty (40) 3.6V 21700 lithium-ion cells arranged in two parallel double stacks. This pack comes rated at 6Ah for operating MX FUEL tools and equipment at maximum power and run-time.
  • PIC BELOW IS THE SMALLER 3.0-Ah pack

If you think the batteries are expensive, don't ask about the concrete coring drill. I've bought cars for less.

The 20s1p is $380

Market rates right now is about 4-6 $/cell, so let's average $5/cell * 20 is about $100 for cells alone. The 2p version is $600 (which would be ~$400 more than raw cells). Even when you add in a BMS, case, and materials, this seems pretty far from useful in the ebike ecosystem.

Doesn't Greenworks have 80V batteries and ebikes: Greenworks Announces Launch Plans for New Battery-Powered Go-Kart, Minibike, E-Bikes, Scooter and UTV

Maybe a DIYer could snag one of those and the ebike battery mount component instead of fabricating one for the Milwaukee pack.
Greenworks doesn't play nice with DIYers. Their tools/batteries have extra chips to make sure you use only their batteries and won't power up if you connect anything else. Of course you can use Greenworks battery for powering something else but I'd check if it's serviceable in any way .

30T cells are pretty cheap, you can get them for below 2 usd and casings with bms are in 25-35 usd range on ali.
