I recently purchased a battery from dhgate that was advertised as 48v and 15 amp hour bottle battery (full specs below). Upon delivery I was quite surprised to find that it was half the length of another bottle battery I have on hand, rated 48v and 14.5 amp hours. I know little about batteries, but it seems unlikely to me that a battery with half the volume could have similar capacity to the battery I had on hand. Is this a common scam or would someone have an alternate explanation?

Not to say the market isn't rife with scammers

but chemistries vary greatly in energy density too.

A proper Ah capacity test will show the truth
