Building cylindrical battery pack for Dummy!

thanks for your research and enthusiasm Ypedal, on the nail every time!
Just curious: Why are you thanking Ypedal for this, when he has not even posted in this thread? :?

sory Amberwolf, i was responding to ypedals wooden battery box thread, must have got some wires crossed there.... :?

Just wanted to note another couple good techniques to make end plates:
3D print them. If you don't have access to a printer through a Techshop or work, you can find services on the internet that can print what you want from a 3D model. They're a bit expensive though.
You could then use the 3D printed part to make molds and then resin cast many more parts from those.
Here's a nice tutorial on resin casting:

This approach gives you nice insulating materials and all kinds of shapes are possible.

Hi to everyone
I just came across this posting about using spring clips and brass strips to build a battery pack
that allows easy cell replacement.
I’m looking for feedback from anyone who has tried it.
Thanks for the help.

I think i'm missing the point, thread title says making a cylindrical pack, but you seem to be constructing rectangular ones....
