Hi guys.

I will build myself a 22s battery for a scooter conversion :bolt:
It should be portable, thus I'm building it into an own enclosure with two main "power connectors":

1) LOAD = motor. The connector has to handle 100V 150A.
2) CHARGER. The connector has to handle 100V 30A.

For personal and family's safety both connectors should be contact-protected.

Do you know any connectors that fit those requirements?
What connectors do you use in the 22S range?

Best

For charging you can use a Neutrik Powercon 32A.
And for power Anderson 175A. But I do not know if that is contact protected for you.

Anderson SB series, as big as you want (round up)

Protective boots, handles etc are available.

Train the noobs/kids to always use heavy rubber gloves and to avoid the wet.

Those too young dumb or stubborn, do not allow playing unsupervised

You missed pets. Dogs tend to chew on things so they have to be durable.

Thanks for your answers!

Both Anderson and Neutrik seem to be good connecting systems :thumb:

By contact protected I mean that one can’t touch the pins of the battery when unplugged. There should be no danger of the 100V.

I thought about electrical solutions like in automotive industry „Service Disconnect“ with a relais but they mean extra PCBs = extra costs. A good connector may be better and cheaper.

Any further suggestions for contact protected connecting systems :?:
