Guys - we need a reliable cost effective controller solution. Those chinese controllers (KT, Lishui and else) are a pain to work with and keep frying (at least for me). On the other end we have premium GRIN stuff and ASI or Kelly which are great but not really cost effective on a cheap ebike. And somewhere in between come infineon controllers which are pretty hard to come by, at least in europe. I think we should support an universal open source solution and keep refining the firmware during the next years. VESC based 80V+ device in the $100 range would be paramount, especially if the software keeps improving, and would work on a wide range of devices, going for a simple dd hub to an electric chair and even middrives like a bbsxxx. Just my two cents.
