Hello,
Has anyone tried to mod one of those DH forks with dual clamps to fit a M14 axle motor ? The idea would be to increase the clamping slot to 10mm to be able to slide in the motor (mill or careful filing), and than stick a custom made shim (M14 to 20mm) on each side of the axle before finally bolting the dropout clamps. The clamping force should be strong enough for any 1000W front dd hub. And this way no messy torque arm. What do you think ? Anyone tried this before ?
