Displays for bafang ultra drive

I have the EggRider and want to use it for programming but want the big display for actual riding

Why not use eggrider and for larger display an old phone or cheap Android?

Well I don’t have an old phone so Would have to buy one, and the display was $90, probably cannot buy a phone cheaper than that-Plus I would have to buy some kind of mounting kit to put it on there

Would be Same difference in money I think

Android phones are dirt cheap, like $30 new for prepaid name brand on sale. That said, for ebike display probably makes more sense to pick up a waterproof phone like this:

Or if you prefer iphone, the SE is unofficially water resistant

I ordered the 9 level pas dcp18 from eunorau and it should be here this coming week

if I am not happy with this set up might try an android phone... I like big displays on the bikes

just happy I found the 9 level from the recommendations here

eunorau was very quick answer emails and confirm they will send the 9 level and NOT the eco/sport
they seem to have a huge stock of bafang parts for motors/kits etc

What is the issue with the eco/sport version of the dpc18? Is it just personal preference?

I'm surprised no one has posted this yet. I see the question asked so often. The difference between the 5 ECO & 5 Sport Modes of the Bafang Ultra Drive DPC-18 is...... ECO only uses 1000 watts and SPORT uses the full 1500 watts of the Ultra motor. A programmed 10% assist in ECO mode would be 100 watts, while the 10% assist in SPORT mode would be 150 watts. Please pass it on. I've put 1500 miles on my Biktrix Ultra and my next purchase is the EGGrider v2. The 9 levels of assist will be far more useful.
