Ebike controller throttle not stop motor

I have a ebike controller, accidentally i short throttle gnd with 36v , after that throttle not stop the motor only speed responsding and when i check gnd and signal with multimeter i get 0v not 0.8v as normal

Check the continuity of the ground wire. A bad throttle ground connection will make the controller run at full throttle.

once had a throttle that worked in reverse,the magnet was fitted backwards!.
