Hi all,

Does anybody know where I can get a set of front forks for my Emoko HVD-3

Thanks
Henry

Did you run over a pebble or a bottle cap and bend the fork of your shopping cart wheeled scooter? Alas.

That’s harsh. They’re not the safest things, but 10 inch wheels are rideable with good suspension. (Not that scooters come with it, but you can build your own).

I haven’t tried them off-road, and wouldn’t. Seeing these scooters supplied with off-road tires actually bothers me.

Anyway, it’s measurements you need, not pictures.

- Dropout spacing (critical, but reducible)

- Axle to crown length (less critical, but important)

- Steerer diameter (critical, and not realistically adjustable)

- Steerer length (critical, but reducible)

- Steerer threaded length (if applicable, critical)

- Offset (if significantly large, important)

- Crown race diameter (if unorthodox, critical)

There’s plenty of aftermarket forks on aliexpress.

That said, I would like to see pictures. Did the failure result from the bridgeless design?

Thanks for your comments
please see attached pics of scooter and fork damage and any recommendations would be appreciated if i can locate a new set of forks or similar
regards
Henry

Good to hear you didn’t break any bones.

If it’s under warranty, you could claim that the fork snapped for no reason.

Either way, you want an original fork, despite the fact that they break.

It’ll be tricky to replace with anything else.

You’ll need to disassemble further to determine the options. You need details of the steerer section that bolts on to the fork crown
