Fuel from Whiskey :)

This was supposed to be answering an responded post, but I guess this went up today.

The article itself has no merit, the writer is clueless. During world war II that was a "Producer fuel." If you get E85 gas that's 85% ethanol. The problem with E85 is that ethanol could be considered leaner than gas. A gallon of E85 is almost like you've taken 3/5th's of a gallon and added 2/5th's of something inert. A flex fuel car will send more fuel and you lose almost half your fuel mileage.

If your not using a flex fuel car, it can't adjust to sending enough fuel, the car overheats, you got problems. But Indy cars do just fine on ethanol. Basically anything more than the 8% ethanol in gas now will cause cooling problems. But you can run an engine on pure alcohol, or you can mix some water in it to help with cooling and use less alcohol.

Its just so funny to read such a delirious article on a drinking themed site.
