Help on hunting e bike

I like that sur-ron but I guess pedal kit sucks and if I go hunting different places it doesn't even look legal. I do like the single gear rear axle would like to find that or a good hub. Finally got bike in yesterday actually looks pretty good rear axle is 197mm. Any ideas

This is what I did on mine for the pedals. They are still worthless for pedaling, but it at least looks like it pedal and can be converted into pegs when you get where you are going. :)

Hmm, i wonder if these can be adapted to my 1200cc sport bike so I can ride on bike trails? I mean it's amazing how they just seem to magically make things look like a bicycles. I can see all kinds of possibilities.

I see a sur-ron being more headache with game and fish. Even with pedals want more of a bicycle look not dirt bike with pedals. If only used of private property it would be great but if I draw a primo tag then need at least the look just need help with axle/hub now.

Maybe not for your budget, but there are two off-the-shelf electric motorcycles that are perfect for this use case.

This would be my pick... I've ridden one. Beefy frame, but light enough to be manhandled, and 2WD...

There is also the Volcon Grunt. Haven't seen one in person but the specs are there.

I would worry about any off-the-shelf bicycle drivetrain reliability when hauling a loaded trailer off-road. I'd say either build a direct-drive powered fatbike or choose an 'ebike' with a motorcycle drivetrain (a-la Surron).

In lowest power setting and pedals it becomes a class 3 e-bike in CA :) If you stick with the stock sized tires it is not as intimidating.

It can be done. Going to change some gears to get better low end and lose some speed 40mph is a little to fast. But hauls me and trailer with 6 80lb bags of concrete fine

What about having a motorized trailer?

You could have a lighter duty ebike for scouting and a heavy duty trailer for hauling when have a carcass to get out. You could have a setup similar to Grin's e-wheelbarrow.
