whatta joke. amazing the lengths people will go to to prove what a novice they are and ignore the cheaper BMS alternatives manufactured cheaply in the billions.
There's nothing inherently wrong with that setup, it just provides a low voltage cutoff (for really cheap) for projects that don't require huge amounts of power. You could probably even beef that up for a longboard setup, although at that point I would invest in a decent BMS.
