King Meter Display with Bafang Controller ?

A question, are the signal compatible between two controllers assuming that one will wire the display correctly. I mean can I use KT display on Bafang controller and Bafang display on KT controller? It seems like there are controllers on ebay that are using Bafang Display with the KT controller.
