la Nina rears her ugly head

As of midnight another 1.82”. Lots of local road flooding. More expected.

To top it off 40-50 mph winds.
Looks like lots of pineapple moisture near Hawaii. If that comes this way we’re gonna have to get some hip waders.

Got 0.33” today at the house for a storm grand total of 3.15”.:mrgreen:
Next chance for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, not expected to come in pineapples but it is still a possibility.
Looks like a praying mantis on this satellite view.

We are now 260% of our yearly average rainfall around here as of today. Might be drying up though. The dead grass is coming back though.

Finally drying out here. Season total 45" so far. Forecast is for near 70F next week. Snow melt may be an issue in some areas.

Yesterday I saw a rainbow over the rising moon from my backyard. Rainbow was a bit weak, but you can make it out in the picture.

The hills are starting to turn green and conditions were nice for bike riding.
