Mount a down tube battery on a rear rack

I would like to securely mount a down tube battery on a rear rack. Does anyone have any ideas?

If it's a Hailong pack, just screw the battery mount to the rack.

Thanks for the tip. It is a Hailong 36V. Do you think the $25 Amazon racks would be OK?

Depends on what rack you're talking about. I'm guessing 7lbs for your battery, which most sturdy racks should handle. I have my controller mounted under mine and have a rack bag on top. I had one rack fail so far, after a couple of years use, near one of the joints. I replaced it with the same one, but check it every so often.
