Proper battery and esc for motor

Hi I’m starting a dirtbike conversion build, and I was wondering about the right esc and battery. I understand that it needs to be a 20s/72v battery, but would it need to be 800a? And same with the esc would it need to be rated for around 800a? I know this probably seems obvious, but I’m very new to this type of thing and I’m still figuring it all out. Thanks in advance!
