Replacement Controller Help

Hello,

I purchased an IOC EZ-Rider Beach Cruiser Fat Tire ELectric bike. I have had three controllers go dead for variouys reason (long story). I want to find where I can purchase new controllers without using ION Electric Bikes site because of cost.

Controller - 48V 500W 18A 26"
LCD DIsplay - Bigstone C500B LCD
Read HUB Motor - Unknown (500W)

When I search 'the google' I find lots of controllers that are almost perfect but none with the correct specs or terminals.

You will likely search forever if you are looking for a controller where the wiring harnesses match. Since you are dipping your toes into the do-it-yourself world, I'd suggest purchasing a multimeter, and either a soldering iron or wire crimping tool so you can change out the connectors as needed. Based on the description of features for your bike, I think most KT (Kunteng) controllers will have the same features, but you need to get a KT display as well (e.g. LCD3). Depending on how your lights are powered (e.g. if you currently turn them on using your display buttons, then they are likely getting power from the controller), the KT may not have the capacity to power them, so you may need another solution for lights. Same with the horn.
