When I take my bike up to 30 mph the controller cuts out. Not sure if its my settings or my battery. Battery is 20s10p lishen cells no BMS diy with copper nickle sandwich(.1mm copper plate across both series and parallel connections) and for cable connections i soldered 2 6awg wire to the .1mm copper then spot welded it on. Then a few inches before connecting to controller I joined them into one 6awg wire. Attached are my controller settings and a pic of the positive leads. Yes I over estimated the length of the positive lead and plan to make it shorter but I dont think it should affect my test runs. So if any one has got an idea where to start that would be much appreciated. I forgot to add motor is qs205 4T v3. And I used SB50 connectors. I have some xt 150 connectors I can switch them out, but i believe the xt150 are made for 8awg. And I would have thought the SB50 connectors seem more beefy than a xt150.

Does the controller actually power off?

Or is it just ceasing to run the motor under certain specific conditions?

(your title says one thing, but your post itself says another)

Only the controller cut off. Then if I turn it off, give it a couple seconds and back on it works.

Update. I have changed some of my settings. Now bike tops out on the flat 40mph with no flux and doesn't cut out. I have posted screen shots of changed settings. I would think I could run it higher the amps and get a top speed of 45 to 50, but maybe I am wrong, not that I really would travel that fast much. Just trying to dial in the max settings. I will try and get some time later and slowly bump up the amps. This are the cells i made the battery with lishen LR2170LA. Anyone got an idea if its the settings in the controller, the battery, the long positive cable, or how the positive and negative go into one 6awg to connect to the controller that is having the controller cut off. Any thoughts would be helpful.Screenshot_20230922-184157_SIAECOSYS.jpgScreenshot_20230922-184143_SIAECOSYS.jpgScreenshot_20230922-184135_SIAECOSYS.jpg
