Hello, i'm building a batterypack based on LG 18650HE2 2500 mAh 20A IMR.
36s 30p , I have 30 nickel strip in parallel connecting each "s"

at the side of the pack I would like to use aluminium busbar to collect the current from the 30 nickel strip ( a bigger aluminium busbar is lighter than an equivalent resistance copper)

someone know if is possible to spotweld pure nickel to aluminium or the two metal are incompatible.

If not possible how can I connect the nicke strip to a 2mmx40mmx800mm aluminium busbar?

It usually isn't equivalent resistance, once you take into account the extra resistance at the connections.

Aluminum doesn't like to weld to other metals, and it displays all kinds of galvanic corrosion. Just use copper and you'll save yourself some disappointment or worse.
