I thank everyone who offered their advice/encouragement on my journey to complete my first build (of many, I'm sure). Without the collective wisdom of the sphere, this would have been next to impossible.
I took it for another 5k test drive, and other than loosening of the axle nuts, my ebike is performing spectacularly. I plan on ordering some nordlocks to address the problem and I'll keep a wrench handy.
