Swapping controllers plug and play connections?

Hi there, tomorrow I'm swapping out a blown kt35a for a new kt45a, but still using the original throttle and PAS, but the wires are different colours on the new one.

So even with the colours being different am I right in thinking that the order of the wires in the connectors will be the same because of them both being kt models of controller? If buy chance that they're not the same would connecting them incorrectly cause any problems with the controller other not working?

I assume the plug genders match. I'd look at the wiring diagram that KT supplies, and make sure the signals names are in the same order.

Thanks mate, but I just chanced it and went ahead and connected everything and it was fine and worked perfectly
