The Beast Mid Drive. In Beta Testing.

These are very nice kits. All custom mounts were CNC milled and because of that these kits are step up from laser or water jet cut kits. Precision is a key factor in making these kits rigid. All sharp corners are CNC chamfered. Unfortunately, all this will add to the cost.
Are you using LR big block motors for your kits?
It looks like this is a dead end, but I don't see a problem. There are plenty of rickshaw motors made in China.
What is the weight of the Beast including chain, chain rings and cranks?

The IP shenanigan is one big BS. LR kits are based on GNG kits. Also, you can find other, one-of belt pulleys and chain reduction kits built before LR and GNG existed on this forum. Many members of this forum participated in improving GNG kits, and without them the LR kits would not be what they are now. What about their IP?
LR Mike did fantastic job putting all ideas together and started nice niche business for himself in the process.
He deserves to make money and tons of credit, but the IP thing is not cool.

It is time to move on and make better, quieter, stronger and more efficient kits.
Good luck to you all.
Happy 4th!
