Using a mosfet as a switch?

So dumb question time - how do you get the files from Vedder's github into production? I undestand the BOM and ordering from Mouser... but how to get the PCB's for these made?

And an ultra low tech option is the anti-spark loop key. For us mere mortals who can't design or build one of these from scratch!

I'd suggest using https://oshpark.com/ they're quick and no minimums.

Hackvana is a great guy, but his minimum charges and production cost are what steered me to go towards a larger supplier with more equipment such as OSH Park.

Cool - i'll see how much to make a couple of these. Want to get some of the 3 cap boards he showed made as well.

A friend of mine build a switch with MOSFETs for but it lacks the connection and resistor between gate and gnd so it does not work properly. He tried to regulate the gate voltage with a variable resistor, will that work? If I add a 100kOhm resistor between gate and gnd (before the switch) would it not drain a small amount of power all the time?

Is there any reason a circuit like the one posted in the first response would not work?

@ izeman, I'd like to use one of your switches, but they might not allow enough Amps and I just found this nice on/off switch. Can you give us a quick rundown of the specs and parts needed?

Anyone doing these and selling them? want to avoid messing with ordering all the parts and putting it together myself. Want to focus my time in other things, but I do need switches.
