Vevor motor and controller - Mophorn kit

Back story: I was reading up on threads here and found one on how a member upgrade the motor on a Razor electric motor bike, looking at the motor of choice was a Mophorn 1800w brushless motor kit from amazon $99.

Excited that I can use such a motor for either a motor bike conversion or an electric boat drive.

Amazon - I found the kit on amazon but price had gone up a little to $140s, but I bought one.

I received the kit, I opened it up and found it was a kit with brand label "Vevor"

hmmm, bait and switch? or am I good?
What is the track record of this Vevor brand?

I tried to test the motor with my meanwell 48v power supply as a power source.

1. I connected the phase wires, matching colors.
2. I connected the sensor wires (5 of them in the 6 pin connector)
3. I connected the 3 pin throttle

No dice, no revolution nothing when I twist the throttle.

I looked through the connectors and there is one that stands out.

1. One 2 pin connector labeled - ELECTRIC LOCK, that is open now,
Do I need to jumper this?

others are brake light, brakes (2), charge connection, led indicator

Any ideas what needs to connected for the motor to run?

I had to use a wire to jump the "electronic lock" connector, woaala, it worked.

I watched some videos and saw one youtuber use a twist throttle with a 3 speed switch and key for the lock, wow. I need one.
