My new Leaf motor has a thermistor with about 550 ohms @ 60 degrees F and 971 ohms after a quick brisk ride which made the sides of the motor quite warm. These seem to be unusual values for a thermistor. What kind might I have?
So there are 500 ohm rising temperature thermocouples (not thermistors) that match my room temp value but 970 ohms is like 250c. Obviously my motor didn't get anywhere near that because it still works.
