Yose power throttle issue

Has anybody had a problem when fitting a throttle to a yose power kit? I have identified positive, ground and signal (red black white) but when operating the throttle all it does is send the temperature readout on the display round in circles! Tried various combinations of wiring and various throttles with no difference..

That looks like a LCD3 display. Unless Yose locked out the settings, take a look at the P4 setting.
Set P4 =0 for throttle always active. If P4 =1, I believe you won't get throttle until pedal assist has started.

Press and hold the + and - (up and down arrow) at the same time
