Yuba Mundo Bafang Mid-drive

Hi guys,
I have a Yuba Mundo cargo bike w/ mid drive. Works awesome but the speed sensor can't reach the back wheel.
Any suggestions for an extension or splice? The wires look extremely thin, so I am hesitant to splice.

Any help would be great. Thanks

it won't reach the front, actually a lot longer to the front.

It's about 5 inches short for the rear wheel... the Yuba has a really long wheelbase.

You didn't provide much information. We don't know which mid drive, etc. Most plug-in cabling has extensions available, or just buy a sensor with a longer cable. We have no idea what you are working with. Extending small wires is certainly possible, it just takes cable, heatshrink, tools and some skill to do it.
