Hell yeah man! I dig the matte black. The controllers fit perfectly in that spot right!? What battery are you gonna run? Is that the Fardriver controller? You have your motor really far forward compared to mine! Be careful with chain tension with that much gap, should be ok though

Perfect placment for controller...Using ND 72530 bluetooth Fardriver and a 45ah 100 amp continuous with 200 peak...I'll keep an eye on the chain ..thanks for the tip...I might do a fiberglass battery housing just not sure yet but that will be the last thing to do..

Awesome man. Did you get the controller with the motor from QS or a different seller?

May I ask what battery brand or did you make it? I’ve been using Amorge a lot lately with killer results! Did just pick up a 72v 25AH from UPP recently too for $550 60A continuous and 180A peak.

Qs motor and bluetooth fardriver came as a kit with fardriver already paired up..
The battery is coming from China (yikes 😁) 45ah..120amp BMS . 10amp charger ...so we'll see how it does...budget build here..saving money for the lambretta Li build if I can ever figure out we're to get a swingarm for it...

Nice, I think you’ll be fine with the battery. Just don’t push it to max all the time and be smart with charging. 45 AH will be nice!

That’s rad as hell! Love the halo headlight

Yes, I have the key switch volt meter style. I have been using these too. Cheap, and work really well. Just wire it in between the battery and controller on a 72v line. The scoot doesn’t need to be on for it to work. It cycles between a battery %, volts and then off.

DC 12V 24V 36V 48V 72V Battery Capacity Voltage Meter with Alarm, Battery Capacity Gauge Indicator, Battery Gauge Monitors, Lithium ion Battery Tester for Car Vehicle (Green Light) https://a.co/d/4jgILy9

Luv this thing..this was a better option than watching it rot away in my shed...😁FB_IMG_1697465881218.jpg

How much phase current have you set on the fardriver?

A friend of mine has started also a Bella conversion and I have to do the electrical work. We started with a 3D printed motor to check position and chain.

I thought abbout using my ND72680 but as it has to get the German TüV aproval , I have to go for a controller which already is used in a stock motorcycle that has COC papers for Europe/Germany. There are only motorcycles with a Fardriver 72360 , or I have to go for the Votol EM150, which I have never used before. I know the Fardriver very well and have a 72680 in my Masini scooter and a 96850 and a 721800 to upgrade and play with.

I am very pleased with their service. Allen, the representative I worked with had me two quotes within 24hours of emailing and I had it built and air shipped to me in just over two weeks. Came very well packaged, free charger and extra leads. It has a nice hard shell on it and silicone around the seams. There is a battery breakdown video on YouTube someone did and it checked all marks for being a decent battery with good cells, quality, etc..
Do you have a pic of battery and price ?

Sorry only this. I like the Amorge as they do higher output BMS’s and the battery leads are nice thick gauge wire with anti spark XT90 connectors. I believe I paid $750-800 for it…IMG_3056.png

I would like to know the phase current settings from the controller.

For the german TüV approval I need to use a controller which is factory installed in a registered motorcycle in Europe / Germany.
The only one I know are ND72360 used in Dayi E-Odin, but I do not know if 360pA would be enough. for a mid motor.
My hubmotor has to less starting tourque with 360pA. I use a ND72680 for my hub.
