spoke threading question (cracks in rim)

The word is 'patronizing' not patronishing. Meanwhile, once again, your spoke angles were way off long before decided to 'wash your bike'. Meanwhile, I'd follow Chalo's advice by going with thinner high quality spokes and nipples.

    Specs about nine continent

Can you tell us the weight of your bike and how much you weigh? Other considerations are the brand/type tires that you are running, and at what tire pressures your are at. Meanwhile, the speeds that you now achieve are about what you can expect with your 72 volt batt that is limited to 25 amps...

spoke threading question (cracks in rim)

Going from a 26" rim to a 20" 'BMX' rim is not, imo, a good idea (especailly one that is radial laced). I say this because most radial laced rims are for show only. Meanwhile, you are probably running spoke/nipples that are way too thick for your rim/hub combo (as Chalo often says). Meanwhile...

Help with installing the last 400 series crystalyte hub.

OK, I see that now. However, I still think that it is very obvious that this motor was not a good candidate for mounting on this, or possibly any, alloy fork due, in part, to a short axle length. Meanwhile, this thread is yet another example of just some of the serious problems that can be...

Help with installing the last 400 series crystalyte hub.

The exact "nut pressure" is not so much what I'm concerned about. My concern is that the alloy dropout was hacked and/or filed down. Tightening the nut down properly could possibly result in a cracked dropout due to the possibly "untrue" or uneven hacked/filed surface that it's bearing down on...

Help with installing the last 400 series crystalyte hub.

I can't say what the axle nuts should be torqued to. However, you should be able to locate the recommended axle nut torque from the motor manufacturer or, from others (i.e. dogman, etc) who are knowledgeable with these motors. All I'm saying is that you could possibly crack the alloy dropout...

Help with installing the last 400 series crystalyte hub.

I suggest that you assemble the wheel followed by torquing the wheel nuts as previously mentioned. You should then immediately disassemble the wheel followed by checking the fork dropouts for cracks. BTW, I would also strongly suggest that you wear a full face helmet while riding that bike of...

Help with installing the last 400 series crystalyte hub.

The cuts you made on the aluminum dropout should have had a radius to them (as seen while looking directly at the end of the axle). Those cuts should have also had an inside radius to them. What you have could possibly result in a serious "stress riser". You should also take great care in...

Has anyone tried this Throttle from E-bike kit ?

I would definitely go with the half twist rather than the full twist type. You don't run the risk having the half twist tube sliding off the end of the bars if the throttle assembly fails (as with a full twist). A half twist will also reduce the chances of "unexpected" and/or unwanted throttle...

Brake activated motor cutoff switches for safety

I'm slowing building a "XC/urban" machine that came with trigger shifters. However, I' like to replace the front derailleur trigger shifter with a seat tube mounted friction shifter. This would, of course, free up the left handlebar space for a standard e-brake/motor cutoff lever. BTW...

    axle specifications

Well, the pdf dimension links found on the "main" Crystalyte web page wouldn't load for some reason. However, I stumbled upon the http://www.crystalyte.com/new%20motor page which happened to have working links for this pdf. Go figure.

    Single speed gearing

My 26" single speed (Worksman) has 44/22 sprocket in it's stock config. This seems to be pretty low (even for a bike this heavy) and, as such, I'm going to pick up an 18 and maybe even a 16t freewheel. This, along with either a mid or high speed wind DD should allow for "moderate" pedal...

    cutoff key

You might want to look into running a 72v 100/125 amp "contactor". Here's a link with some info on this: http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11011 You can also search through some of the other ES "E-Scooter and Motorcycle" threads for more info on this.

    Single speed gearing

Ya, I've thought about building a 700c/29er in a board track style setup. However, I wasn't sure about which motor winding would work best (i.e. torque or speed). Either way would probably require a lot of pedaling and even more wattage. I finally passed on the 700c/29er idea and went with a...

    Noob needs help upgrading bike

That controller in WN's link is interesting. I think a might consider using one for a "super cheap" 72V-ish build (i.e. GM DD, HK lipo, etc). However, I don't think I'd need to be drawing 40 amps through it continuously tho. I figure 32-35mph would be plenty of speed for the type of riding I...

Full Suspension Frame (Was Carbon Frame)

I'm with dogman and kfong on this. You are, imo, pretty much committed to using CF for exactly what it was initially designed and "laid up" for at the factory. This, and the somewhat similar "negative" aspects of aluminum, often tend to make steel frames or steel dropouts the easiest to work...

Cane creek thud buster as light duty soft tail?

Yep, you spend most of your rough ground moto-x and MTB time "on the pegs or pedals". Otherwise, you'll be eating dirt or pavement for sure.

There's a new sheriff in town (new pics on p5)

Try heating the hub up a bit before you attempt to remove the disc allen screws ( you can heat the hub up with a hair dryer/heat gun). Just don't heat it up for too long or get it too hot... As for the "air or spring" shock debate: I had reservations about air shocks years ago when Fox first...

    Dead BMSbattery charger

You should always plug the charger into the battery first and then plug the charger into the AC outlet. Reverse the above steps when disconnecting the charger (i.e. unplug the charger from the AC outlet and then from the battery.

    Problem Installing new Infineon controller

EDIT: The part in your OP where you say "(or 48 V because i have it on my board too)" had me wondering.
