I made some photos of the loose magnets. It could be the issue. IF this is the issue, why is the motor heating up in a matter of a minute?

Hi ykick, Well there was a magnet a bit shifted, but not completely loose. Hm.. :( I'm going to cut all the phase wires and see if it's still draggy. Thanks

After 5 years another update in thuis thread :D Yesterday my motor was suddenly getting really hot while riding not so extreme, it got to about 170 degrees Celsius. That's when I stopped.. When the motor was relatively cool, 80 degrees, I noticed a drag. I made it home while riding at max 20...

Sorry was a bit hasty. It seems everything works as it should be on the controller side...

Try another throttle, if that does not work it could be a wire/connector issue to controller... The metal connector has to be firmly connected is what I remember.

hey man :) You're here like 24/7 to assist! I wrote an email to Adaptto telling the story about opening the case and all. Also that I replaced R113 without any luck. About the trace, I checked it and it doesn't go anywhere. Hence, I didn't fix it. For me it was just a quick solder, then...

I replaced the R113 resistor and unfortunately the error Halls! is there. Anyone else have some idea's? Halls signals are continuesly on 111 and H0. Hall voltage is 4,52V.

Not sure, but I think this wheel is laced a bit wrong.. Is this easily fixed?

Guys, thanks all for your help!! About the resistor, I'll search locally here.. but before I will check here again if its correct. A few thousands off :D Well there goes my repuptation :oops: @ccmdr I couldn't find the pinched out R113, so I can't check it anymore. It has to be replaced...

Ok. The resistor did not gave me any readings.. I pushed it to hard and the bugger came off. Look what I did :shock: Should I fix the line? It seems to be going nowhere ... Is this the right one to order? I didnt understand what 1/10w meant, but this seems to be ok...

Wow thanks for the detailed instructions! Glad to be here at ES. So the 113? Well I thought of that too, but the voltage seems pretty much ok, around 4,5v.. Wasn't the voltage thing the indicator to replace the 113? Thanks!!
