So Justin, when are we gonna see a tuaxle version of the GMAC? Paul/cell_man had a prototype shown at interbike 2015. It would be dope if you guys at grin can pick up the torch on this one. This would make us AWD ebike builders have more choices of front suspension forks for our AWD builds. =D
hmmmm I wish design is as such that you can adjust the gap between bb mounting hardware to accommodate wider bb shells. as of now it seems like the motor side cover with the windows on it sits on top of the mounting plate........ the bafang BBS-XX units are very versatile installation wise...

Wow......been 1 year since the last update...... how is everyone's build doing? This year, I totally rebuilt my mid drive hub drive cruiser. it's now an AWD bike still using the old ass GNG gen 2 mid drive and now instead of the old heavy Magic Pie 2 rear hub, I switch it to the newer MAC geared...
Hmmm 40+pages later, certain people finally able to accept the short comings of the stock mounting hardware of this kit and are coming up with the same ideas on upgrading them. nice to see everyone is coming down to the same conclusions. 8)
and there are solution for hard starting middirves which I believe I posted several pages ago?
oh man, who said you can only do this electric bike thing with high amp high Kv setup? raise the voltage enough and use a low Kv motor. and you wont need to push insane amount of amps to your motor...
