Is it ok for the controller and battery to run both at 40 amps nominal... bms is 40 amps nominal max 120 amps and controller is 40 amps nominal and only 60 amps max...battery is samsung 21700 30ah

That should be fine. See if you can find a spec for duration of max current. But when the BMS is rated that much higher than the controller, I expect you're okay.
Best is for the BMS to be rated significantly higher than any loads placed on it, but that said: I have been running 35A through a 35A BMS for years with no noticeable heat related problems or any other issues.m
Yes, no problem. Is it ok for the controller and battery to run both at 40 amps nominal... bms is 40 amps nominal max 120 amps and controller is 40 amps nominal and only 60 amps max...battery is samsung 21700 30ah
So tops I shouldnt go over 40 ampsI wouldn't recommend running any components at their absolute limits, particularly the battery.
Batteries are always over-rated and this rating is based on the single cell temperature in a temperature controlled lab, not the actual condition in a battery pack where all those cells are jammed next to each other heating each other without any ventilation.
Run your battery beyond it's specifications and the best you'll get a lot of voltage sag, short life, and at worst, a fire.
Would suggest turning that controller's max power down to 40A for the sake of the battery.

Will there be and different in 200 watts...35 aMp controller and a 40 amp controller at 52v think that's 200 watts
What Samsung 21700 cell as some are rated at 7.5amp and some are rated at 40amps per cell . Plus we would have to know the controller and battery do you have any links because we're just talking about ? Where did you get the info on your battery controller and BMS ?
Here's a link to the battery 52V 48V Ebike Battery 30Ah New hailong for 0W~1500W Lithium Electric Bike Motor | eBay. I haven't got a answer back yet on what kinda samsung 21700 cells no I don't have a cycle analysis and it's 52vWhere did you buy the pack give us a link
We need more info
Do you have a cycle analysis ?
This will give you information of how much draw in amps that your controller is taking from your battery ?
These questions are for you to answer and put the answers back here.
What voltage ?
How about some answers ?
Those Jumbo Shark packs can hold 13S5P or 14S5P, neither of which can attain the claimed capacity, even with 5000mAh cells. I think at that price, you won't get what is advertised, or even what you pay for.Uh oh, that battery pack has a DP-9 case which can only fit about 19ah 48v of 21700's at most.
There is no cell that could give you 30ah capacity in that size case.
The controller is just the same 45 amp and 60 amp co troller u get with the mtx rimWhere did you buy the pack give us a link

I opened it up it is samsung cells but they r 18650 cells so ya they lied I can see what kind all i can see there are samsung 33 I think it was and i couldnt see the rest of it what was after the 33Uh oh, that battery pack has a DP-9 case which can only fit about 19ah 48v of 21700's at most.

Here is what a legitimate pack with that case would look like:
48V 19Ah Downtube Battery
It's unlikely that you have brand name cells in that pack considering they lied about capacity.
Your safe limit for continuous load is more likely 30A or less, you would have to get some kind of watt/volt measuring device to figure out what the sag is under load, or take this pack apart, to find out what the real continuous amperage limit of this pack is.
So it more like a 20ah batteryThose Jumbo Shark packs can hold 13S5P or 14S5P, neither of which can attain the claimed capacity, even with 5000mAh cells. I think at that price, you won't get what is advertised, or even what you pay for.
K I'm new here sry bout that getting used to things round hereI merged your second and third threads for the same thing with your first one. To aid those trying to help you, please keep it all in this thread.
Got any pics of the internals?
