Hello, so I need some help figuring out how to have my motor move in a 60v battery pack, so everything is functional at 48v but when i add one more 12v battery for 60v the lights on the throttle still show, it turns on and everything bu it don't engage the motor at all,so i revert back to 48v and it all works fine. Is there something in my controller limiting voltage or a wire i can undo?

If your controller isn't compatible with 60V, then you'll need to get one that is. Have you checked the component voltage ratings?

Does it have a display? If so, there is probably a menu to choose the voltage it runs at.

Otherwise, it might be a factory setup option for what voltage it runs at (regardless of what's engraved on it). That could be a software setup (that only the factory can change) or a hardware jumper (or resistor) soldered on the internal board.

Fun fact: I've also had companies label items with voltages that *look* nominal, but are actually maximums.
I bet that’s it (so if it was converted to lithium ion, 14S could be used). Looking at the replacement controller on the Gio site, it looks like 48v nominal, and pics from google all show 48v.
