I recently acquired a 9continent 2806 - the motor was used in a humid climate so naturally there was a bit of rust inside.

I am sure this has been covered by others on here but i figured i`d share my method- the rust was light so it wasn`t a major concern
my method involved getting a 1liter bottle of a product called evapo-rust - i left the side cover on, and put a plug in the bearing hole , than i poured the whole solution in (than scrubbed the rust with a pad), let it sit over night and scrubbed it again next day(with a scotch bright pad)... worked pretty well, i am pleased with the results
my next step is to coat the magnets with epoxy paint
the rotor is currently also soaking in the solution and doing well
