How do you add pictures to a post?

Quickest way is to upload images to the ES server, to do this use the 'browse'
button below the text editor (the box you tye your message in) this will open up a window viewing files on YOUR pc, navigate to the pic you wont to display, click 'Ok' the name of your pic will appear next to the 'browse' button...simple click the 'add file' button and your done, the pic will show in your post...

It's the computer where what you post on here goes. So attaching a picture directly here put it on the server.

As opposed to hosting the pictures somewhere else, like Photobucket etc, and just linking to them.
That caused a lot of people's pictures to disappear from old posts after they started charging for hosting.

This forum wont let me add a 250kB picture.

I just tried to upload ten pics of varied sizes.

One uploaded. Got error message on all the rest.

Maybe it was a temporary glitch? Was the image that uploaded supposed to be a tiny pinkynail? (too small to be called a thumbnail :lol: ) It's filesize (208.98kB) seems too large for the displayed image size (27 × 20 pixels).
I reattached it below to see if it causes any problems with my post/upload, but it didn't.

I just tested a random bunch of browser-cache-folder pics that happen to range from 45kb to 712kb and they all appear to have correctly uploaded and displayed at this moment.

I'm having the same problem. Error message says "it was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image".
