Anyone buy eBay kits? Looking for cheap 24" DD

I am happy with my main ebike and am ready for a new project. I want to see how cheap I can go on this next bike, which will be sort of a backup bike. I want a 48V 1000W 24" rear DD wheel that will use rim brakes. I am all set on batteries and controller, and will use any ol' ebrakes and throttle that typically come with these types of kits.

This listing on eBay says they can build the wheel in 24" and it would be $289.99 shipped to the US.

My question is, has anyone ordered from this seller, or have another seller you'd recommend that sells this same type of kit in the same price range?

Also, I haven't found any other sellers elsewhere who can get me a 24" rear DD kit shipped for under $300 to NM, USA. Are there any sellers I missed who can ship at this price? I don't care about shipping speed, just price. I know I may get better quality elsewhere, but for now my main metric is cost.

That's a good price. Here's some 24" kits. Don't know shipping cost.

Thanks. Yeah, I've been to their site before. Kit is $290, but shipping estimator looks like $200.

I've already been searching for a few weeks, so I will be pleasantly surprised if someone comes up with anything cheaper, or at a similar price that ships faster than this listing coming from China.

Too bad you don't want 26". I have one cheap, and will be in burque for fiesta.

If you want really cheap, I have an old Ford Think Ebike. It needs a new controller. Bring you that for $50. It's not much of a bike, brushed motor, and slow at 24v. Buy it a 36v controller and it should fly--- for awhile at least.

I actually remembered you saying you come to the fiesta often and thought of asking if you had any 24" wheels lying around that you've collected. Unfortunately, the bike I want to put it on is already set up for 24" and wouldn't take a 26" wheel.

That's an interesting looking bike and a very tempting offer, but my wife would kill me if I took on yet another project
