Hi,

I need a little bit more burst power for my 350w bbs01. I wonder what is the maximum voltage i can safely use on my motor.

What do you think, would 48v ready made battery pack be too much for it?

should i limit current etc?

I am running now maximum 18A.

If I raise voltage, I could always limit current to 15A or 14A maybe. I only wonder, will this overvoltage cause my hardware to blow up....

I know my searching skills aren't the best but...
What's the highest voltage a BBS02 "36V" will happily work with? The 10S 18650 packs I usually use with these are 42V full charged and its happy with that. But what if you do an 11s? Or go LiPo? I can't find an official figure on any of Bafang's documents and I haven't found an answer here. Very odd! :pancake:
Anyone got an answer for me?
Thanks :D

Voltage doesn't give you power, voltage gives you top speed. If you need more power you need to draw more amps.

48v 13s (54.6v) pack wont work, it will give you an overvoltage error. Not sure whats the max it can take, im curious myself.
