BBS01a controller question

I’ve found the supplier from whom I bought my BBS01a no longer has any controllers for that model. On another forum someone suggested the controller from a BBS02a will work as a replacement, just checking is this true? Are there any drawbacks or things to watch out for if swapping out the 02 controller on an 01 motor? Thanks for your advice.

I found some on aliexpress and eBay. 36V500W bbs02 old version controller will work.
