Controller replacement question...

Hello All,

I have a technical question...

I currently have a Amped Bikes rear gear kit that I run at 44 Volts Lipo, so far I am very pleased with 43-45 Km/h top speed... :D

However, the current controller is limited to 15 amps. I thought it was a 22 amps controller, butI have never measured anything more than 14-15 amperes using my turnigy watt meter...

I am very satisfied :p with the Top Speed of the kit, but the acceleration could be better...

Would a Ecrazyman 30 amps or Lyen 30 amps controller improve my acceleration, and keep the same top speed ?
I figure that if acceleration is proportional to current, then more current equals more acceleration.

Would 30 amps be too much for my little motor ?

I am thinking of replacing the controller because on my ride to work there is a section where I need to stop and go a lot.

Any recommandations ?

Thanks !

Not sure wheter the motor can take 30 amps, but yes, increasing the amps should give you a snappier response.
