GT RC inline watt amp meter

I have purchased 5 GT RC inline 100 amp 60 volt meters. I thought they were all the same.
The issue I'm having is that 2 units show total elapsed time the meter has been connected and the other
3 do not show any elapsed time at all.Is there some specific model that has the time measurement ?
Any help would be great. I was only using the first two I bought to do load testing on Lithium Ion Packs I
am building. They both showed total elapsed time. I discovered if I connected power to the auxiliary 3 pin
plug I could hold all the readings and that allowed me to do the tests in stages. Anyone know why
some of these do time and some do not?

they only turn on the ammeter when it detects current flowing through the shunt. so the timer is off until it sees current flows. not sure what this anomaly is you described.

i use the aux power input too. i use a small 9V wall wart AC adapter for power.
