With all the bike kits, it is hard to find a kit to go with so I am going to ask for help. We live in the Pasific North West and it is a wet climate.
I have a 1000 w 48 volt on a 29” bike that I love, did it the hard way and not really the best way, I think. See attached photo.
I want a 26” front wheel kit 350 watt with a 10AH 48 volt battery and all the extras like PAS, brake cut off, and a Cycle Analyst 3. I want this for my wife who does not want to go fast, just enough to help her around. I have a nice older step through 5 speed bike that would work great.
If someone could share a few good system web sites it would help me. Of course cost is important however not the overriding factor.
Thanks,
Keith

are all reputable dealers, but may want to shop around for battery separately.

Keith --

A 350W front drive deal I became aware of in another thread:
http://em3ev.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=50_45&product_id=244

350w MAC front drive kit, on sale at $100 off normal price (about 28% discount).

From one of the solid vendors recommended above. It is spec'd as 36v system but guessing you could probably work with EM3ev on getting controller set up for a 48v version.

FYI, here is the other thread: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=83966

Ebikekit is currently having 20% off sale till the 18th.

I'd go with a 48v Q128, which is much lighter than a MaC, but still very powerful, You can get them from BMSBattery, who also sell batteries with a very good controller inside, which makes a very neat and simple installation. They come with a LCD that shows speed, distance. voltage and power, so not really a need for a CA.

Even with a 500W motor, most controllers will allow you to program the current limit and speed so you can run it at 350W or whatever. 500W motor won't get hot running at 350.
