Hi I have this problem with my new ebike it's called Hitway bk11 and I have been given the method to unlock its speed limit by Hitway themselves but it won't unlock I'm sure it's locked via the display or the controller as I'm in the uk but they seem to think it's not. Unless there's bad communication from the factory and the support as this is a new model. Any ideas?

If the company themselves can't make it work, you'd probably have to replace the controller/display with a new kit that isn't locked, (as well as possibly other parts like the battery if it can't handle the higher power draw of the faster speed).
Keep in mind also that if it's locked to keep it within legal limits of your locality, using it outside those limits might cause you legal troubles, if that matters to you.
