hub motor spindle nuts

hi all,one of the axle shaft nuts has stripped threads,its a chineese 1.5 kw motor,the axle is 14mm dia,does anyone know what the thread pitch is on these?,as i need to order new ones and have no thread gauge,tia.

If you measure across multiple threads with a ruler it's usually easy enough to get an accurate pitch, 6 threads over 9 mm would be 1.5mm pitch for example. Standard m14 threads should be either 2mm or 1.5mm for coarse or fine, if you've got an angle grinder for disks bigger than 4 1/2" try the nut on the spindle, they're m14 coarse.

What motor? Most are M14x1.5
