-51.9°C recorded in Canada, country's coldest temperature in 4 years

On Sunday, Wekweèti, N.W.T. recorded -51.9°C, which is Canada's coldest temperature since March 2017. Before 2017, you have to go back to Old Crow, Yukon to find a temperature below -52.0°C in the Canadian database.

Light rain starting here now. Not much expected, but better than nothing.

-51.9C is cold enough to store that covid vaccine. Add a little wind chill and I don't think I'd survive more than a few minutes.

Isolated storm resembles an F Clef as it slowly approaches the left coast:
https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/fulldisk_band.php?sat=G17&band=07&length=12

Rainfall amount from 0.30” to 0.40” expected.

That one is going to miss up here. But we'll get a couple of weak fronts over the weekend and into next week. We are way behind average for rain this year.
